DISCOVER WHY WE EXIST

The Maria Celine Onwughalu Foundation (MCOF) was founded in memory of Maria Celine Onwughalu, whose early death was a stark reminder of the severe challenges many women face.
Confronted with inadequate maternal care, limited resources, and the pressure to bear many children, she endured the harsh realities that millions of women still experience today. Her story is not just a personal loss but a powerful call to address the systemic issues affecting women’s health, well-being, and empowerment globally.

My Philosophy

My philosophy is that we cannot truly protect women without creating an environment where both boys and girls are protected, nurtured, and heard. Neglecting boys and teaching them to suppress their emotions or hold back their tears often leads to broken boys who grow into men that may pose risks to society, including the women we strive to protect.

To build a safer society, we must empower, support, and guide both boys and girls towards positive values, and listen to the side of the stories of both men and women both in school, business and in marriage .

By doing so, we establish a foundation for true safety and harmony for everyone.
Empowering both genders ensures that every individual is valued, respected, and guided towards making positive contributions. Only then can we create a society where all individuals can thrive together in safety and respect.
